alicante is a nice place, it's quietish but a very spanish city stuck in the middle of the tourist areas. easy to get to and cheap, big beach right in the city and access to lots of secluded beaches on the costa brava by car.

spain was very nice this weekend, stayed in the hills just north of malaga in a mates villa. temperature was over 30 degress celcius during the day. Lovely.
even had to spend an extra day due to the frogs going on strike
