Cure disease does not work

I need 5 grand soul gems, there were some in the mage's guilds but i stole them all earlier and flogged em now i can't find any, anybody know where there's any knocking about

What level are you? when i was level 30 they were selling grand soul gems in the shops if your not upto level just item dupe them when you need blacksoul gem find a necromancer shrine with a white tomb thingy outside , and stick a grand soul gem inside.

 

Currently Level 4

Help me out, why do you need a grand soul gem?

 

Buy it. make sure you have 2 sets of arrows with at least 20 of each. then equip one set of arrows and fire, but before you release go back into the menu and equip then unequip the second set of arrows(will say cannot change while attacking) then go to grand soul gem and drop it then quit menue,hey presto

think he needs them cause he is a stinkin filthy vampire jack

Worked a treat thanks, didnt actually know what to expect and did it top of a hill so all my gems rolled down the bank

Fully cured now

Now i'm just plain old stinkin filthy again

 

Is it possible to catch vampirism twice , i've been told i am infected, went to see the old witch and she wasnt interested.

I drank a cure disease potion about an hour afterwards, does it tell you its cleared up?

 

Well - ish. You just don't have it listed as being infected. I got caught twice with Vampirism and cured myself in time

 

Look at your self on the first tab of your X button, you'll see if you infected. Also you'd have Vampire attributes.


Completed the Dark Brotherhood side quest the other day, last two achievements were easy.

And the fighters guild, i got dropped two levels, not my fault the ****** died.

 

Does that only show after the 72 hours?

 

You can't avoid this. Just keep playing.

Right i think i've fecked uo after doing a quest for the Fighters Guild, i've been sent to explore some strange lights outside a cave, the poeple in the local village say members of their village have been to investigate but didn't return.
Well the strange lights were Willo-the-Wisps, went in the cave killed a few trolls and headed for the green marker, searched the skeletons and zombies at the marker, nothing. Searched the caves some more and killed a few more trolls, it then Updated my quest telling me i should investigate more to find out if the trolls were responsable for the villagers disappearance, well i can't find anything and did i search the skeletons and zombies before i was meant to?

 

it's a known bug - do a google on the name of the cave and you'll find a method of setting the quest as complete. The same thing happened to me.

 

Did you make sure ALL trolls are dead, it updates your quest once they are all gone, a detect life spell or artifact comes in useful for caves.

 

All trolls have to die in the cave as bob said.

 

This has to be the most expensive game I've ever bought...

£20 for the game, then £120 for a graphics card to run it! (My old one was running about 2 seconds per frame).

Looking forward to playing it now though.

This doesn't always work - especially if you have previously visited the cave and killed trolls / will o' the wisps before.

there is a fix available tho' - I just haven't got the link to hand that tells you what to do

 

Nearly 100 hours on my first game, just started again as a wizard but now it looks like my xbox is fooked

 

The official patch which came out yesterday is supposed to cure this.

And fella's i di kill all the trolls, it updated my quest and told me to look for clues, well i couldn't find any and though i'd fooked it.

 

Dont you have to search a body after you kill the trolls.

 

The evididence from the official forums suggests that the patch does NOT fix already borked games, just prevents the problem from occuring in new ones. If you're on the PC then it's time to get the console up.

Well it seems the problem is, after a quick Google, i visited Swampy cave before i received the Fighters Guild quest.
I searched the cave including skeletons, zombies and the important body in question needed to complete the quest on my first visit. When you leave the cave the body dis-appears, thus meaning when you need to find and search this body it's not there meaning you can't complete the quest........****!!


As above there is meant to be a patch that fixes all the problems, i haven't seen or received it via Xbox Live.
