You used the wrong smilie - it should be been this one

What I meant to say was the smaller the group the better on these runs out. Taking 10 cars out over a long distance is hard work and not very enjoyable. 4-6 cars is ideal and much more enjoyable and less stop/start.

By the way, what is "Carping"?

Might have done me some good if i had taken notice of the above post, woke at 8:10pm thinking ooh i'll make this when it was in fact 9:10.saying that i was out until 3am - so to be honest not a good idea to be driving that early in the morning, bugger looks like the weather bucked up as well.

Back from the run safely. Had a laff on the M60 though. Overhead gantry saying "Caution - Debris in road - Slow" and half a mile later is a police range rover with a BMW 3 series broken down in front of it. Bit harsh to call it debris though??

Had a good time today, although had to do some explaining to mother when I got in She's ok with it now

Cant wait to see the vids and pics!!

Great run out today, some lessons learnt as regards convoys.
Pictures up here: sunday run

For the next run, we all need radios. If you plan to come on a run in the future, see if you can get a radio to use. We also need to practice our convoy technique, there were a number of times when we left the back markers behind today. Think I'll make a little film about the best way to travel in convoy

I'll post the film up later, did you get any footage dai?
