Are you unemployed by chance, or worse a salesman?
I'm an IT Director (quite happy with my pay).

And I'm "between jobs". Got an Engineering degree but have been in sales since I finished uni.

Im an Electrical/Electronics engineer in the construction safety equipment market. Get to play with big diggers/dumpers/cranes/loaders all day. Money is ok, more work I do, the more I get paid. Great in the summer outdoors, not so great in the winter.

I have walked on top of your reactor in one of my previous jobs Gary.
Spent a long time in IT
Good pay, lots of crap to deal with, in general an easy job though, just dull as dishwater.
Now build historic racecars and get paid to travel the world running them at the races, get to drive them ocasionally in testing, everything from a 50BHP 1950's saloon
to a 900BHP/LbFt CanAm sports car
.
Pay sucks compared to IT, but i love the job.
