I'm a Paramedic. I don't earn a great deal for the responsibility and crap I have to put up with from the general public.

 

Purchasing manager who saves the company hundreds of thousands!!!!! underpaid though for what i do - there is nothing (almost) that i cant get cheper - and as good

I too get paid to suf Snet most of the day

 

I get paid to be an IT Consultant (among other things) and still Surf Snet all day

i work for one the the buyers of lmc's products. moneys not bad, get to travel to distant countries, meet new people and let my bosses drop your products on them from on high . only 7 years left to do now

Monitor review and commission supported living schemes. Local governemnt, so I'm obliged to say cr*p pay, no bonuses, no overtime, no car, no Xmas do.
Still, my wife looks after our daughter everyday, and doesn't get paid...

 

I did,

Tobboganist, pays great I wear spandex and only have to work once every 4 years.

 

I work in Research & Development for Ford Motor Co.
Pay is not bad, driving future models before and if they come out is the bonus .

I'm a Uni lecturer too, in archaeology. What's your field? Been at it a few years now and just got promotion to senior lecturer but thinking seriously about setting up my own archaeology business. I agree there is lots of grief. The profession isn't what is used to be: they're trying to tell me I'm a 'facilitator of learning'
