If as you say brand new is tax advantadeous then go for it. Have you considered an S4?? Not new but wouldnt be that old and very nice with a stonking V8. Have seen a couple of R32's now and they do look nice but i still cant get my head round 30k. If you cxan afford 30k more easily than me then i suppose it doesnt seem so daunting.

A friend has a R32 Gofl, but in the older style ?? Very nice car, feels solid, sounds nice but although quick, isnt "Wow" quick.

He put different cams in it, had it chipped, but although better than standard, still wasnt like my twin turbo supra. So, the cheeky monkey has taken it over to Holland and its getting a £4K turbo kitted installed, with stage 2 extras. Thin will be pumping over 350 bhp:-) With that type of power, with the 4WD, will be a termendous car.

His one has the built in Sat Nav, with has the colour screen. He brought the TV module from Ebay and now has TV.

Nice car, solid, sticks to the ground, but like all cars, if you pay £30K, how much would you loose after 2 years ? Hence why it might be worth buy ing a second hand car, thats had that inital hit in regards to depreciation.

What ever the case, R32 is a nice car.

I thought the new R32 in the initial mag write-ups didn't give it a very good rating. Has this all changed then?
If my poor memory serves ne correctly, some of the articles were saying you'd be better off with a GTI as it's lighter, not so nose heavy and more dynamic in the driving department.
Have there been more road tests that have turned this on it's head then?

Funny, coz I told my boss not to bother with an R32 and opt for the GTI based on this - oops!!!
