sounds like your Mam would be very proud of you.
I lost my mam to the Big C,5 years this September,i have followed the thread ,never posted just felt your heartache,Miss Speye lost her Mam 3 years ago last week through a tragic accident that Miss Speye witnessed,so we both know what you are feeling at this very sad time.

I can say no more than has been posted in this heartfelt thread. The heartache is strong but you are too....I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your Mum, I can't pretend to imagine what it's like.

I have read this thread many times and am so sorry for your loss I can only wish the pain and heartache eases but your memeories remain strong. The photo of you and your mum is excellent, she was very lucky to have such a caring daughter and you a mum you adored.

I am sorry to say that my Mum died this afternoon. She was a wonderful person who did everything for my sister and me. I feel exactly the same as you. It is the passing of an era that I was not looking forward to as you can imagine. I can't tell you how desperately sorry I am.

i hope you can gain some comfort from this thread as i have. you obviously had a mum in a million too
these last two days for me have been some of my most difficult i have ever experienced, but equally uplifting as i have been remembering all the things we went through together. its not only a time of sadness for us its a time of happy memories too

SS - i didnt read this thread until today as i lost my gran at xmas due to cancer. I can honestly say that i could feel the tears leave my eyes. My thoughts are with your family.
