Very sorry to hear your news.
You have been so brave over the past few months, and have cared for and loved your Mum throughout. I hope that the times you have shared with your Mum will stay with you as being very happy and special ones and perhaps help you over the coming weeks and months.

I am so very sorry to hear the news. There are few words of comfort just now I am sure. However, as was said earlier, rely heavily on your friends, and remember the good times. Your mum is at peace now and her suffering is over.

I for one am grateful that you had the guts to start this thread and to keep posting even when you were feeling **** and low.... it has helped me to understand my own feelings.

I'm so sorry to hear your news.
I'm not very good with words, so bear with me. Rememebr that although she is gone, she is no longer in pain and can be at peace. No matter where you go, or what you do, your mums memory will live on inside you, and her spirit will always be with you.
You should take comfort that you did all you could for her, to make her comfortable, to support her, and to just be there for her over the past days and months. You have been incredibly strong throughout your mums illness - I bet your mum was as proud as punch at having such a daughter.

Don't really know what to say that hasn't already been said...
I know it's going to be hard for a long time and you will never really get over your loss but think back on the good times that you had together especially in the last few months.
At leased she is out of pain and distress now and has hopefully gone to a better place where all her old friends are waiting for her.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

Sara i dont really know you and haven't really posted on here but i have been reading this thread and i have no idea how much pain you are going through right now. i really am sorry what you've all had to go through. but...your Mum is at peace now.

Realy sorry to hear your news. If you ever want to rant/ talk/ anythng, please just PM me - I understand what you'e going through.
Nothing any of us can say will take away your pain right now - but hopefully knowing you have the love and support of many friends on here will help.
The poem below really helped me after I lost my Dad - especially the last part. These days I can remember him and smile - but I know what's like not to be able to do that.
