We had a bit of rain last year during the BBQ, but that was it. I aint that far from Elvington

IIRC last year it was pretty cold on the day too

 

It wasnt too bad earlier in the day, we spent it in the pub watching the cup final
However, by the time we got back to the campsite several pints later, we had to try and put the gayzeebo up... in a lightening storm, the girls got absolutely soaked and went and sat in the cars... crying

This year, we've made sure the girls know how to put the gazeebo before hand

 

We all sat in the garage untill about 3am!

 

forecast has changed again!

 

Worse or better??

 

I think we can safely say that it will change a gazillion times before the day

In my line of work, the older it gets the faster it becomes.

Not unlike the current crop of classics.
