I just had to get some new ones as its 9 years since my last pair (mostly wear my contacts).

When I first started playing hockey the name got used a few times by some of the lads and it just sort of stuck. It sort of rhymes with my surname too, that and me being a fairly big unit anyway!

Yeah hockey was played at school, thats how I got into it. Loved the fact you could whack people with sticks as part of the game and never really looked back after that. Tours to the Isle of Man were the best parts, solid drinking for 5 days with a bit of running round in the middle.
