Well im back from Halfrauds, checked out the tomtom 1 just the sort of thing im after looks wise, and was on the verge of grabbing one, but was told that they do not detect speed cameras, and cannot be upgraded to do so
The other tomtoms are miles dearer and not slimline ones, i dont really fancy a fat bast*rd satnav to carry around, so have come back a little deflated
There was a deal on the navman f20 for £149.99 which looked ok, but i thought id do some homework first before just getting anything, so im off for a prowl on the net to see what i can find, i may be some time #

Also they had sold out of the darth vader packs, they only had yoda ones left,

if you do a google search on web checkout currys/argos/asda they are all doing deals on sat navs at mo and you can buy a disc or even download speedcameras and celeb voices from a certain website L-----re if you not what i mean later dude

To be honest the saddam hanging is rather over rated, you would of thought that with the mobiles of today, they would of used at least a 3 mega pix camera phone to record it with, why bother otherwise

Also I am sure you can put cameras on the tom tom one as they only go in your POI look here as this is where I get my database from Pocket GPS World - theres some good info on here in the fourms well for mine anyway

my m8 got it from halfrauds at £165 also argos did em for that too but dont know why the web price is more expensive - he was probbaly talking Turkey

Ive got the cameras on the tom tom one, but it cannot detect lasers. however, it does tell you where they can be, so use with a jammer if you need to. justin doent need one

yes the cameras go into the satnav as a POI so you just choose the distance you want it to warn you and jobs a good un - it had mobile camera sites in the database but they dont detect the lazer off a gun.

Top website and by far a much better speed camera datebase that comes in different POI's making selection of the ones you want far better. Far as I was aware any TomTom could load POI data files. And you will find lots at the above site.

I have Yoda telling giving me directions, normally gets thrown across the car after about 10 minutes. Silly voices drive you mad once the fun factor has worn off.
