i think it looks abit like the new mazda mps turbo thingy with it being a hot hatch also your right about the evo , its well a volvo

i see where you are going dosh, that GM are using subaru impreza to compete in the hothatch market, i read that its todo with weight, but the true reason will never be known, then again its not rocket science, i would say its down to profit

could even be to do with insurance too you know , by making it into a hatch could attract the younger crowd (not that it did'nt anyway) and it could be cheeper due to cutting down on size and weight to insure
