i have talked to some improters today from horwich , who have a 700bhp impreza
and its a 99 classic
going to see them tomorrow, had a good talk with them today on the phone, and got some good feedback from them,
i think its a GM based car, astra=daewoo and you can see the lines in the shape,
the worst bit is the design of the front , which has "americanised" i think

i think it looks abit like the new mazda mps turbo thingy with it being a hot hatch also your right about the evo , its well a volvo
nah, thats ford
look at it again, its a saab 9-3, VX deffo
yeah i know its ford but think that the fact its a hatch and the mazdas a hatch i think they will be competing with the likes of the vx and st's and stuff
i see where you are going dosh, that GM are using subaru impreza to compete in the hothatch market, i read that its todo with weight, but the true reason will never be known, then again its not rocket science, i would say its down to profit

could even be to do with insurance too you know , by making it into a hatch could attract the younger crowd (not that it did'nt anyway) and it could be cheeper due to cutting down on size and weight to insure
