seriously though I have had a twinge in my back this afternoon, I have had a bad back years ago but it has now flared up again. Mrs wants me to go hospital/docs and maybe do a claim, thing is I am to honest to do so even though if it was an accident caused by me the other party would probably do it
(*my cally is/was a nice example btw)

problem you will have is the car wont be worth much and by the sound of the damage it wont be cheap so they will write it off
as for bad back/neck everybody does it so weather or not its true go for it - you say no and someone else will make a claim and take your cash

it will be written off , thats a deffinate !!!!!!
a broken headlight and dinted wing being fixed at an insurance approved garage will not be an economical repair on an old chavelier
you might not be able to buy it back, a lot of insurance companys have contracts with salvage auctions,
"CALLY" will probably be on top of a scrap pile in the next couple of weeks
with the payout you can go and buy a decent economical diesel car (and faster than CALLY)

If it comes to it, I will buy it back, the door will push out (no actual paint damage either but if I need to respray its easy enough as its not metalic), pattern part wing probably £30 max ready primed, bumper will get from a scrappy along with the light, probably have to get the bumper bar from a main dealer, steering arm from a scrappy, all in all, probably about 2 hours work for me (exluding painting )

thing is I do genuinely have a bad back today, I have been advised to go into a walk in centre, but as I have suffered before it could just be coincidence and I am too honest. If I had broke a leg or other bones etc then I would.

I know where your coming from but it happens and if you cant beat it then youve no choice but to join them in most cases
those who do it on purpose like bang into each other just to claim are complete *****
Any normal accident then imo fair play as it goes towards the cost of a new car/ replaces no claim loss it will never be stopped as you only have to have arash off a sodding linx spray and you can sue for £2000

not posted in a few days
spent about 4 hours in hospital on wednesday, got 3 lots of different pain killers, 1 that helps me sleep. Yesterday I have had my first day of work sick and today is my second. I feel guilty doing it even though we are closing down today (I have 2 further months but everyone else is the last day)
