Good job I didn't take H's advice and go back to Whistler:

Get it done mate. Best thing I ever did.

I bought the ring before I proposed as I knew Dee wanted it done that way but others I know have chosen the ring together.

Thoroughly recommend Fraser Hart in the Trafford Centre. They offer a full refund if she doesn't like the ring, they resize it for free if needed, they offer a 10 year guarantee against the rock falling out plus they'll clean it every 6 months, again, for free.

I took Dee to Edinburgh for her birthday and made out we were staying in a Travelodge to save money but we were actually in a top floor room in the Radisson on The Royal Mile.

I proposed on the top of Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park where you get fantastic views of Edinburgh.

Claud Butler! I remember that name from when I was in to riding. Back in the day when 50-70 miles per ride cross country was average.

Which reminds me.

Pete, can I come and collect my alloys from you? I've got plenty of time on my hands now so I can spray them up myself.

But then it does stop the speed creeping up so you don't mess your pants when you see a white Transit on a bridge over the motorway.

My reg plates have been scratched to bu66ery in the boot of the Classic when I took them off the sti. Will a Porter cable be able to remove the scratches? I'll bring them to the next meet (if you're there) so you can see.
