started with one of these ebay item 380076423223

then i got 1 of these ebay Item number: 220296559912 minus the actuator , i paid £50 for the cover and wheel (new)

then i changed the compressor housing to suit impreza, i acquired and old knackered td05 and removed it,
next was the 1 bar actuator that came with the turbo, the rod had to be shortened and re threaded, also bent in an 's' shape to fit properly
i also had to alter the top oil pipe(hole to small for bolt) and the water pipe swapped to opposit side and cut to length , then it all bolted up nicely

it on 440injectors and hasn't been mapped but i've tried it today and goes well

doesn't pull as hard low down but theres no flat spot from 2000rpm and now it heads towards 7500rpm without a hint of power loss
next it could be, fuel pressure reg and up the pressure to 2/3/4bar, or some 550injectors, if then mapped i wonder what bhp it would make

a brand new td05 20g turbo for less than £250

I borrowed my Dad's Laguna to go to Blackpool last night (we're not taxing the Vectra til tomorrow) so yesterday he came to my work in his car and took mine home.

He's just dropped mine off again and I'm sure he's done a few stages of Wales GB in it. It's fooking filthy!!

And it's only got half a tank in it. I think he's been giving it beans.

I quite like the grey and black, two tone effect he's created though.
