That's the place I got mine from. £40 flat rate for 18's. Choice of Michelin, Dunlop, Continental etc.

When I was there the queue consisted of a Porsche 911, a Renault Megane Trophy/Cup/Sporty (I can't remember which!!), an Audi TT and a 2006 Vauxhall Vectra.

I'm out at the end of November too. Found out yesterday that 3 of the women I work with have been found jobs by our MD.

They'll actually work for one of our merchant customers but only deal with the products supplied by our mill.

So if I can't get another job, can't pay the mortgage and end up losing the roof over my head, I'll just take it like a man and get on with it!!

Everything's going to be fine!!

well realistically paul, im sure you will get another job, if like me your back was against the wall there are plently of jobs out there, i would stack shelves or sell burgers. i have an still do, work for a low wage at times, ok it aint the best when it happens but it usually always leads onto something bigger an better.

the worse thing that you can do is wait till you are actually jobless before looking. if our place aint improved by next easter i will be taking a driving course for the buses. now when the time comes i might not go down that line as i have other jobs that i earn money in, but what i am saying is that there are jobs out there if your pro-active enough an you dont mind doing whatever as long as it pays the bills.

I know it's a worst case scenario but I have been looking on Monster/Reed etc plus signed up to a few agencies and there's nothing that looks even remotely interesting yet. Time will tell.

I have considered going back to my old job but this would mean a £5k salary cut and we only just get by as it is.

How much are those Ocado/Tesco home delivery drivers on??

you sometimes have to take the cut to just get a job, once your in there you can climb back up. why not get a little part time work that you can do at weekends or of an evening.

i cant say much but i have one side line that brings in more than that pay cut your on about, totslly legal but its hard graft, ive done it for years. i'll speak to you about it next time i see you.

people laugh at me with some of the work i do, but i now have a big house and a nice life style. those same people now try an do what i do but cant cos they have the attitude of 'someone will laugh at me for doing it' so fecking what fella do what you have to to get the dolars in the bank

anyway, so far this weekend i have stripped all the wallpaper and then re-papered and painted the living room, i never expected to get it done but i have, just got to change the 'big light' for a new one and do a little bit of glossing an then its another room done.

i have so far re-painted 3 bedrooms and done the living room, i only have the 4th bedroom to go and then the dining room, oh an also the study needs doing.

we never planned on doing all this an it doesnt really need doing but you like to put your mark on your new place dont you
