SMACS Muppet and Numpty corner
>got to do a bit of research on them both,<
fookin internet
no matter what you read it will mean **** all,
typical of the fookin internet, all this "advise" ,what use is it in the hands of idiots
and theres plenty on them , all kicking tyres and listerning to squeaks and rattles under the bonnet
just buy off a trader, save you all the trouble
veccy v6 a good one, early phase 1 msd's are cheap, have the gsi trim etc and 3.0 cams as standard.. their 197bhp from factory, get a chip, zorst, decat and decent viper filter and a few other bits would easy see 230..
only problem is they dont like short runs on a regular basis.. timing belt changes are a must as they have a habit of going.. and head gaskets as they suffer from heat soak when turned off..
just make sure they have a good service history and look like they have been looked after and you cant go wrong.. plus a decently serviced one will see 200k easy

i think you will be saving any of this kind of car from the scrap heap at nortons , so they should cheap enough to be disposable
depends on what you want to spend and do with it??
i would buy a 91-95 BMW M3, there cheap enough and always sellable plus rear wheel drive and the best
if thats not your choice , what about something similar to zipdave,s project!!!
it will always be worth a few quid and will be retro so
, and its a ford
well done rik
you'll need another 17years to catch up with me and lisa
