Morning - it's bloody work again shortly it comes around so fast

 

il say , think we should work weekends and have the week off

 

we have ours on the 19th of sept. Should be a piece of p!$$ though as my stock controller is very good (taught by the best )

I usually end up doing nothing most of the day though until I get everything back and then I do a report and stats for the customer

 

decided im having half day so shall be departing at approx 11.30am

 

Thats what does my head in the valueing of it all it takes hours imputting the 1000000000000000000000 items we have

 

We have the most accurate and cheapest system ever and normally takes an hour tops to count around 30000 different items.

 

All our stock is in France so we don't have to do it.

At my old place we had to come in over a weekend to count two small warehouses. It bugged me that, in the week before the stocktake, the lads in the stores would be sitting around with nothing to do. I suggested they might want to start counting the stock? This was met with grumbles and mutterings that the stock levels would be different by the weekend. I then suggested that a post-it note could be put on eack tray and every time you took, say, 4 items out, the total could be reduced by 4, therefore getting the majority of the counting done before the weekend

It's not rocket science!

Hey-presto - the stocktake now takes til mid afternoon on the saturday instead of all day saturday and sunday.

I'm pleased to announce that I have not seen one single nano second of that mind numbingly boring piece of televisual diarrhoea for 4 series.

waiting for my sodding claybar to arrive off fleabay - it was a £1 cheaper then getting it from PB I still spent £100+ though at PB
