He'd never make it to the track - you think Subaru's are thirsty??? He's getting 12-15mpg on average and thats without hooning it everywhere like he used to in his BM ( BMW : BMW 328 Ci )

 

I've had a blast in it round his local race track (the A34 bypass) and to be honest they are two completely different cars. The rx8 is smooth but has little torque so you have to rag the bullocks of it to keep it on the boil. The handling is so sweet though. It's so planted yet so easy to get the **** end out and keep it there if needs be. The sti is just a wall of torque and grip. My ideal car would be the sti's grunt with the rx8's handling (and interior)....

 

I'll try and get him down to the next meet Ric, then you and Pete can go for a run out in it with him.
