well i can honestly say i wouldnt have another scoob, the only reason for that being is that if you go back its never the same, you'll always crave after what you,ve had. pete prefered his silver one over his blue one and ive heard a few others say the same when they have upgraded to a newer model. the only person who hasnt regretted it has been paul

I know what your saying, its similar with my calibra not the same as the other even though it is a different model and is superior in every way
Think paul though has done a big change on his choice of scoob though and has changed to it whilst still owning the other. (assuming we are on about paulthejambo?)
I would still go back to a scoob and modify it again. This time though instead of the apexi pfc, fmic, uprated bushes, and prodrive 330mm discs and 4 pots I would still buy a classic but go for the simtek, uprated shocks/springs, anti roll bars, possibly brembos or the k sport brakes as they can be had cheaply etc. So may not be the same but if your modifiying it anyway then I dont think it matters.
Obviously there is too much to modify on the calibra so I havent bothered

I really need to clean my idle control valve this evening, car now revs on its own at lights/junctions goes to just under 2k then drops below 1 k does this a few times then stalls. Makes me look like a numpty as though I am revving my car and then eventually stalling it
