i have had to bury my dog today

next door had took the bin out for us but forgot to shut the gate my mother then let him out into the garden to go to the loo next thing she heard was him yelp so she ran to the door to find him lay in the road dead

i got the phone call while i was at oulton park so i came home to console my mother i went out the back to the outdoor toilet (where he was put) and proceeded to fall apart i am absolutly devastated

i have had to bury him this afternoon in the back garden

i have not been this upset since my dad passed away when i was 17, it is amazing how attached you get to animals in such a small time frame (we have only had him for 7 months) im gonna miss him waiting for me when i get home from work god im crying while writing this

Fu-ck me Pete - Im sorry for your loss I know how you feel m8 after My cockateil died - its as if a member of the family has passed away - some people dont understand how attached you can get to pets no matter what they are - it broke my heart burying my bird - but It helped to get another one just to fill that quiet void they leave - might me a idea m8

Sorry to hear that Pete feel gutted for you, we have only had Grace for 3 weeks but would feel the same if anything happened to her.

Know how you feel when you lose a member of the family human or pet, still hurts just as much.

again my thoughts are with you this sad evening m8, i know what you mean about losing a loved one and a pet of any kind tends to become a part of your family, as they say a dog is mans best friend and if i was to lose Charlie i would be absolutly gutted! but life goes on and i am sure your little man will rest peacefully now! and you will find a new best friend soon!
