I know, hats the one plus, bad thing is though it isnt the red top engine but that means its a newer car, loads of history, brakes done this year new pads and discs, timing belt and tensioners done in march

Wasnt impressed with the v6 I saw today, low mileage 69000 but bodywork said otherwise and interior. Place in blackburn

to be honest your probably better off with the 2lt, was the v6 that much quicker
2lt will run forever not problem, if it was a red top it would be £££££
they're putting that engine in allsorts of cars even mk2 escorts for rallying

any vx with red top will have been scraped and engine ripped out, engine worth more than the car

what have I done

Hi James,
Just a quick pm to say thanks for the car! He came in with a big smile on face, and said, come and listen to this.... My god it's LOUD! LOL!
He's really chuffed with it, and said you were a top bloke, so thanks very much. I might get a go in tomorrow (if i'm allowed) lol. He actually commented on how nice it was to drive, so it must be good! I think he's gone in search of tunnels at the moment.... Boys and toys, with loud exhausts, lol.
Thanks for everything, and good look with you're new car, and hope all goes well with the job, and new baby.

the v6 I looked at to be honest didnt feel that quick, It appeared to be running slightly rough as well, and the vaux v6 should be smooth as ice. Probably only needed plugs on he rear bank (its a manifold off job so lot of people dont bother )
Brakes were naff on the v6 as well, pads looked full on the top but I bet the rears were rubbish, massive lip on the discs as well probably a good few mm
