I happen to think The Cure, amongst others are very good. But each to their own. I'm not in an argumentative mood today.

LMAO!

If you want a good crossover between goth and metal then I'd suggest the likes of Paradise Lost, Anathema or My Dying Bride.

Ah goth metal, my specialist area ....

Lacuna Coil are playing ain a couple of week, go see them these are great and last time they playeed with Moonspell, quality !

Weeks after Sheep on Drugs are playing at the Underworld which will be excellent too !

Sister of Mercy are playing in April or May so I'm defnintley going to that.

Rubicon were a mssive disappointment after the great stuff to come from Thr Fields Of The Nephilim, Rubicon just didn't deliver.

Nowadays I listen to mainly Nine Inch Nails, VNV Nation and Combichrist, check it out !

Oh and Christina Scabia, the lead singer of Lacuna Coil , is super hot !

AllanB

Ps You can't talk about good goth music without talking about the Cure and the Cult ! The Cult are simply one of the best bands ever, awesome live too !

WT front woman, looks kinda like Kat Slater crossed with the once gorgeous Debbie Harry, I'm with the old school on the goth rock front, used to love the Mission, and Cult Especially, All about Eve, still love Every Angel, fields of the neph and saw the sisters a few times, partly for the music and partly for Patricia Morrison, I wonder what she's up to nowadays, I bet Eldrich looks like a right old scrawny 50 something these days, he looked fooked in the 80's!! I'd be interested to hear what you thought of thr gig AllanB.

Up until late 2005, Patricia Morrison was playing with the Damned. She left to concentrate on bringing up her new baby.
