The best ones will do massive miles with no real probs, top end needs a fettle at 150k miles, cost £2k and is essential, Belts, tensioners, and gaskets are all done.
Elecs. can be poor as a result of water leaks, wet carpet in the pass floor can mean massive damage( ecu x2 are down there) and water and elecs.
Get the right one running is sooo cheap and genuine 170 mph possible.
Get the wrong one and its tears before bedtime.
Have covered approx. 150,000 mls in 928's over the years and only one unexpected bill.
Buy (drive) the best you wont regret it!!!

Currently never been nailed by anything, I am still waiting for it so I can see what a fast car is actually like in comparison to mine. But until it happens I will continue to drive the way I do.
Only time I went up against a Porsche Carerra 4s thing I let him catch me then accelerated along side him, neither of us gave in until he came up behind a slower car, he didn't want to play after that. there was nothing in it acceleration wise. However I do know he would have left me sooner or later.
