Rovers are nice, but a bit overpriced IMO.

Bren - is this a 40th Anniversary V8 that has been modified?

I have just bought 4x4 DVD from Duke with British Army using 300 TDi Defenders on the Manx Rally in 2005 - with some minor suspension mods, the Defenders went and handled very well.

Rich, I did a course at the Baskerville Challenge, and it was the one thing impressed on me there - you DON'T want to roll an uncaged LR! I had one in Mongolia for a year, treated it with respect with that in mind (didn't stop me getting stuck in a river though ). I also remember the Stig taking the Overfinch RR round the TG track - claimed it was the scariest thing he'd ever driven.

I've no doubt they're great in a straight line, but I can think of better things for going round corners in.

Does anyone have any opinions/experiences on these?

My budget is 9k.

Cheers!
