Ban Smoking In Pubs
Something ive noticed in Dublin pubs is when you walk in on a sat night its empty compared to the way it was. Its like a monday eveing and then you walk out to the beer garden and its packed even on cold nights and all the smokers are having a great time. Then in real winter they just stay in. The pub buzz is gone.

My point is, as mentioned many times, not the fact it is smoking that is the target, the fact that the gov't can just blanket ban whatever they like without putting it to a vote.
What will be next?

My point was that if it were put to a vote I reckon 85% would be in favour.
But that's the great thing about opinions - everyones got one

Yes they can, and furthermore SHOULD be able to, if it is in the interests of the public at large. In the same way seatbelts were made compulsory.
