Cracking day out today, big thanks to my93wrx for getting this organised for us all, even though you guys nearly didn't make it to the SMACS parking area. I've got a great shot of mine and andy's car in a sea of vauxhall and seat's, all on our lonesome
Moneys, how did you get on, only saw you at the shell garage, then never seen again all day! As were scoobybabe and my93wrx, what happened to you guys?

Big apologies for forgetting the banner, but in our haste to get out in time this morning, I forgot it. First thing tomorrow, it goes in my boot and stays there

Big, Big thanks to MY93WRX for organising this.
Nice to see the entrance to Oulton went smoothly!!! It wouldn’t be a SMACS day out without causing chaos !!
Since that wasn’t really their fault, can I suggest a letter or email of thanks to Oulton Park from the SMACS for allowing us the very decent infield parking location. Might stand us in good stead if we want to do this again.



Here’s a couple of photos I took of our lot.
(Sorry they wont be up to the quality of Warrens – well certainly not the ones above anyway !!!)
Chris – How did you miss these car wash girls? Don’t worry though, I really don’t think they were doing the best job of it – Definitely not following the car wash guidelines as set out by polished bliss – I mean look at the sponges on those girls !!

I think we caused quite a stir but, It has to be said, other areas of the infield car park were certainly very interesting as well ….

What a great day, some good action especially liked the porkers.

Lee i'm not going next week but if it is ok i'll drop the radio off with Gillp95 or Cw42 - i'm sure they wont mind passing it on mate.


Eh Chris - bumped into Nigel at Lodge Corner Y'know.

 

I was there and watching on the outside of the Knickerbrook chicane. Saw you all arrive and park up. Was walking over to say hello and then you all moved off and out of the gate to the spot you had on the infield. The dark blue classic in rally livery no 7 I've seen about before. I was camping for the weekend so my car was in the car park on the left as you head towards the paddock entrance.

 

If you mean Nigel from Diggle, I saw him too If you mean Nigel Mansell, you lucky bugger!

Daz1121, I saw your car, parked right into the corner I'll upload the picture I took later

 

Didn't think my car was parked in a corner but more towards the centre of the car park. Then again you would know if it was my car by the reg plate

great day out ! my ears are still ringing , couldnt believe the noise those touring cars make. thanks a lot to martin for organising everything and also showing me around as i never had a clue where to go cw42 i got in just after 10 my car was parked on the stand all day.

 

Is yours the wagon? If so, I wondered who's it was Glad to hear you got sorted

almost directly in front of where we parked Martin sti was the first to put his chair on the fence, so we all followed suit where were you?
