Update so far, am still awaiting the final Arrangements to be confirmed by Keith Anglesy as to where on the infield we'll be parking, who our Neighbours will be and final timings etc. Oultons efforts at the moment are on arrangements for the upcomong British Superbike's on May 1st. Then they will concentrate on the BTCC.

Nice and simple ordering process on the Motorsport Vision website Martin, couldnt have been simpler.

 

It is very user friendly, shame the engineering planner is not as easy to get hod of as the tickets! The last time i rang him he was out on track. Lucky G1t

 

lol perks of the job.

 

It is currently looking as if I may have to miss this one, I will cover any ticket costs.

Race meeting on the same day

 

Went to Oulton on Sunday for the British Superbikes i got there just after 0930 and it was Rammed. So i'm sugesting we meet at the Shell service station at the Traffic lights on Chester road where you turn Left off Chester road to Oulton Park at 9-910. I should be getting confirmation of the final arrangements this week. The liason chap at Oulton Park did not want to finalise the Club Parking untill a few weeks before. Now the superbikes have had there weekend he should be concentrating on the BTCC arangement now and as soon as i know the details i'll promilgate the information on here. I hope its a dam site warmer for the BTCC than it was on sunday for the BSBK.

 

ive got to drop a van off in northwich and then head down from there will i make it in time to meet up martin or am i best meeting you all inside

arl I've already got the SMACS tickets but if you want to park with the rest of us there sholud be no prob's with squeezing an extra car in the parking area

With regards to the parking arangements they should be finalised by wednesday. Should know which clubs are parking close to us. You never know we may have the Evil cars from the dark side as neighbours (Evo's).

Just done a quick google route here which is saying 1 hour from stockport to Oulton. Looks like an 08:00 kick off on the sunday morning then
PC WORLD CAR PARK 08:00 M60, M56, A49 TO SHELL GARAGE. Then convoy to Oulton Park.

Looking at the above list, I'm guessing this lot will meet at PCWORLD:

i spoke to martin about this as i have to drop a van off in norwich at 9 so with gods speed i hope to be at the shell garage for about 9.10 if this is no good i can meet someone at the gate and get my ticket off them. lets hope the weather is going to be ok as well

Hi folks here goes, Just spoken to the planner at Oulton Park: We will have a roped off area for our club parking as will a number of other clubs, it will be on the infield. They have as yet not decided where abouts on the infield and it will be a last minute thing, when we arrive at the gate in our nice big subaru train we tell them were with the Subaru club (the cars will probably kinda of give it away except for the C2 may confuse them), the gate staff will then tell us where our alloted area is, so i will see you all bright and early on Sunday, i'll dish the tickets out at the Shell Garage, lets hope the weather is Hot hot hot, although the forecast is wewt wet wet, which does make for good racing, but poor sun tans.
