I had a thought that I think would make us look even better on the Sccobywagons stand how about if we all got show plates made up with our SN names and scoobywagons written at the bottom, I looked on the Francyplates site and made up a plate and it looked really good, I think it would look great but what do you all think.

Maybe Fancy plates would do a discount as there would be so many.

 

Thats a wicked idea LJB we used to do those when we set up the Renault Sports club for the shows we went to...

As the Mrs says this is a great idea ... I have still have my show plates from our Wide Arch 5GTT and our Nitrous Williams Clio

We used to get some small white velcro self adhesive fixers, and stick one in each corner and then they are pretty invisble then stick the other half on the plates, whenever you pull up anywhere, whip out ya plates and slap them on, if you need to shoot off you just unvelcro them
No mucking about with screwdrivers etc this way

As we have a lot on this weekend (moving) and wont have any connection till monday, could we officially task you with looking into getting a deal maybe with them ... could you save a sample one to upload for us all to have a look at if possible

I will gladly accept the mission, I have emailed Fancyplates so look forward to a reply today I hope, if not I will phone them.

I will try to post an example, but my computer skills are very limited so will have to speak to my son on Sunday if I haven't managed it before.

 

*LJB* I'll speak to my mate and see if he can do us some plates cheap . He owns waxacar.co.uk and he should be able to sort them out for us. Would you want front plates only or front and back?

I was thinking of front and back but if everybody thinks that thats not necessary (spelling?) then just fronts.

I have done an example to see what they could look like and with a great deal of help from my son managed to get it on here




What do you all think?

I did wonder about whether Scoobywagons as the big writing and the user name in the small letters would look better, but the Fancyplate site wouldn't allow that many letters for the main name.

Do you think your friend would be able to do it Paul if that was what we all wanted.
