Mrs smiles and myself are allready preparing ourselves for the job in hand of Wagon Committee and the display on the day with Mrs Smiles being the Secretary

Lots of ideas rolling around ...Was thinking of maybe a gazebo/ marquee type thing for the stand as well as as some bunting around the stand or some of that plastic chain linking stuff ...a candidate for best club stand is the thought ...anyone know any tuners or even a friendly scooby dealer who we could blag maybe a subaru flag or bunting stuff from ... a tunere may like a bit of free advertising in return for anything we can blag from them to make the satnd look good etc ... just some ideas

....Its just like the old days we were saying when we used to run the Renault Sports Club in a previous car club life and Nick Read and myself used to tazz around southend cruise in our Nitrous (me) and Turbo (Nick) Clios .. we both saw the light and now converted wagon owners

 

Mrs Harding may have stiff (pointy ) competition this year from Mrs smiles with her Genuine Manufacturer 42d airbags ... fitted as standard

Four years ago at the Tyne tees meet I had another crazy idea of a small garthering of scoobys We thought we could possibly muster up 30 from Cumbria and 40 from Tyne Tees

On the day we got 470 cars all parked in a field !!

It will be held as last year at Lightwater Valley theam park near Rippon North Yorkshire start at 11am untill 4 pm ish

The date is sunday 18 th June 2006

entry £5 donation to cancer reseach

Last year we raised over £3000 for charitys


trade stands ,Car of the Day ,Raffles.and plenty to do in the theam park for the kids /better halves

We are developing the club stand so I thought in Conjunction with Smiles

Last year we had only 26 out of 400 ++ scoobys so It would be nice to park them together ##


Due to the logistics in parking 400 scoobys in the field in under 1 hour I will need the wagons in a bit earlier 10 ish as they will be in the Club stand section ##

All wagons will be parked in the same direction and being a perfectionist that I am for detail I would even like the same colours together !!##


As I am now starting to co-ordinate the full show which will keep me busy for the next 18 weeks I would like to apppoint the

As for the wagon babes mines a different colour to yours

just had Eibach springs and Geometry done by alan at A S Performance which has totally transformed the green wagons handling

And the poly bushes (what ever they are ) and droplinks are getting done on tuesday

Right then, the NBO 2006 Wagon Stand has its turbo spooling up nicely now

I would like to do a quick check on this list to check to see if everbody on it is aware that they put name down for the correct thing.

I know there was a bit of confusion earlier where this list lost its heading, so people were asking ..."so what is this list for " and had some people add themselves not knowing what it was for.

So by know everyone should know this is the NBO list ... we plugged it enough on this thread ... but there may be some people on here who didnt mean to put there name down, so....

What I am proposing is:

1/ Could you please mark your name in 'Blue' if you meant to put your name down... you dont have to confirm yet... its just to check you know that this is a NBO Stand list and would like your car on the stand.

2/ Could you please mark your name down in 'Green' if you can confirm you will be attending .. You will be guaranteed a spot on stand.

3/ if you didnt mean to add yourself to this list for some reason ot you cannot make it now .. can you mark yourself in 'Red'

4/ for points 1 & 2 can you add your Car colour, shape (classic, bug, blob, Hawk (06) ) and model e.g. Black, Classic, STI or WR Blue, Blob, WRX

5/ i will also PM everyone on this list to check also

6/ I will PM as many Wagoners from the list on the Wagon thread in the gallery as possible to try to get some on the stand

With this information we can work on a parking plan to get all the cars parked in a dispaly according to colour, shape and model

Im hoping you fellow wagon lovers can help me here, im looking for some advice on which double din to single din adaptor i should go for Also a new gator/surround/gear **** as iv got a classic MY95 wrx import..You might be able to guess im not all clued up yet so hopefully you peeps can help me out

had our NBO 4 committee meeting last night to thrash out a few things so have booked a corner in the newly designed NBO showfield


Can we tidy up the wagon list before Saturday please as we are going live os Sunday night with the list and want to book us all in in one GO !!!!


Might have to restict the wagon stand to 20 ish so first come first served !!


My long term vision of parking every scoob in the same colour 400 cars ++ probably wont happen due to the logistics unless we spray them all blue when they park up

So it looks like the wagons will lead the way in a uniformed parking .

My spys tell me the clubs are really going over board with club displays this year so we will have to be really well orgasnised to show the wagons off
