Chief,
the car usually has 2 or 3 runs in 4th gear, from say 2000 rpm to redline.
Max power was on my 3rd run.
Kinda weird hearing the engine/exhaust so close.
Hope this helps.

Not long at all Chief, they will run it gently through the first 4 gears while they check that the car is ok, then they will run it flat out in 4th or 5th depending on whether you have a 5 or 6 speed box. the flat out power run only lasts for a matter of seconds, they will probably do it twice to be sure the readings are pretty accurate
