How pompus must you all be to think that a certain age group are "Chav's" and shouldn't own/mod a car that dare i say you own too?
It just goes to show that age and maturity aren't correlated as half you planks stereotype beyond belief!
As a 20 year old STI MY02 driver it irritates me beyond belief that you lot degrade peoples choice and opinions by calling us Chavs simply because we are more youthful and enjoying the drive you do too, its a sign of the times boys and girls you'd better start getting use to it!

What is more annoying than anything, about you silly young boys, is that even when you are trying to defend and justify your so-called status in life, you don't have the nouse to write in English.....
How can you expect to be taken seriously, if you cant string a sentence together without resorting to childish text speak?

Not trying to brag or self promote myself, but to be insulted like that for wanting to do well and then reaping the rewards for my efforts is indeed childish, but those sorts of comments are on behalf of more "mature" drivers not the younger ones, who just want to get on with their motoring and enjoy it!

Tarra!
If its possible I think that the moderators should ban the word CHAV, if you write swear words on here they automatically disappear.
For example:
I ****ing hate West Brom Albion, there a bunch of *******.

The thing is, the thread never ever mentioned anything about young lads driving Scoobs, or that a certain age group is responsbile - i certainly never posted anything like that anyway, and all I read about was the overuse of the word chav

You young boy scouts have come into it, txt speaking your way into some sort of justified response about working in an office, and the rest of us only dreaming of owning Scoobs.

No idea what your point is really, I dont drive a Scoob so your diatribe cant be aimed at me, I am 30 something though. As for the "recapturing your youth" business, when you get a bit older you will realise that being out of the 20's age group is actually very enjoyable, and the only real point where you have money/choices that you never had, time is an issue though.
sorry if I cause offence to anyone with this but chav actually stands for Council House And Violent... so if you have a council house and a history of assault then your a chav
if not then the old geezers need to shut the f*$k up!

Or even that some of the lucky ones are young, enjoying ourselves, have the money to enjoy ourselves yet still get called a chav??
So if you don't own a scoob the point of joining in a scoob thread?
or have you owned one and grown out of it?
No point in this thread......can't teach and old dog new tricks

I've had my Scoob for only a few months now, and I can see why these cars are being classed as "Chavvish"
.
I love my scooby, really enjoy the car, and am happy to have sold the old saph Cosworth I had, but these cars are getting a bad reputation. Why does everyone have to prove their car is faster than a Subaru? I know it's kind of a compliment, but it's getting on my nerves, especially in town during the weekend
The cars are very fast point to point, but face it, they are not the fastest cars on the road. I am still very good friends with many Cosworth owners, and on a recent evening out, I could only just manage to stay with one out of 11 of the cars
. Most were running 300+bhp and had a lot more torque.
I am not putting the scoobs down, I love the cars, but it's these owners who think they are God and unbeatable just because they have a Subaru. Grow up and enjoy what you have, it's not a game.
Get out on the track with your mates and push your car to its limits, safely and in a controlled environment
Sorry to moan, buts its just my 2p worth
