I would have to say i think that the classic is the best, its "the original" scooby
It really annoys me this. The classic is NO LONGER PRODUCED GET REAL YOU CANNOT BUY THEM ANYMORE NEW therefore it is the OLD model. The same goes for a bugeye shooting brake (like mine) it is no longer available. Maybe that makes mine a "classic" too, especially with my chrome bumper protector and dog guard. Its like the various incarnations of Golf GTI, which is the "classic"? Mk1? Mk2? the latest? Lets cut the bull dung and talk Impreza's generally, they are ALL good at what they do, its their individual appearance which varies as does their handling and performance characteristics, note the phrase "characteristics" i.e. "character" which means individualistic which ultimately makes every car ever produced a "classic"

Blutes - you do realise that 99% of people on here use the term "classic" and know exactly what it means.

You really are an angry young man aren't you!!
Crikey, calm down you'll give yourself a hernia.

FYI classic refers to models made between 93 and 00, not a opinion

Well I have a classic wagon wrx and jdm bugeye saloon, both same ish power 240 bhp, both totally different tools.
Wagon ace for moving stuff around, bugeye for more refined drive, classic feels more lively but prefer bugeye if i had to choose!!
Both leather, 18's, exhaust...avoid induction kits, imho

Where was the coupe option? I've owned one 4 door and three 2 door Imprezas, all classic shape. If Subaru reverted back to the old shape I'd be tempted to return to the Impreza fold. I can categorically state that I will never ever be the owner of a new shape Impreza, through personal choice, NOT through a lack of funds!

I have a classic Wagon, but voted for bugeye saloon.

The classic is nice, but looking dated. I bought a classic instead of a bugeye, because I don't like the idea of losing thousands in depreciation. Buying a 5 year old car means you only lose a couple of grand over 2/3 years.

I'm definitely buying a bugeye STI in a year or so.
