I'm comin to play with you all! Just Booked.
Spoke to Tyres Northampton this morning regarding whether they would be attending as I will need some new boots by the end of the day. They say if they get enough interest then they will be there. So .......... if you are needing tyres then give em' a buzz and we should get their support.
Can't wait, adrenelin is rushin just thinking about it.
Cheers
Chris

Dear All
The gits won't let me and Birdy share a place and wanna charge us £100 a car regardless of the fact that we want to share the track time between us. What a take on I mean what difference does it make to them if I drive mine for a session then Birdy's for a session and finish back in mine. I'm not going to gain any more time on the track!
Does anybody here know someone who works at donno(who's first name isn't Adolf) who can sort it.
Cheers
Steve

Steve.
Sounds a pain I know, but each car is given a sticker to correspond witht e session it's in. This sticker is not readily transferrable and would mean you'd need two, which would then mean both cars COULD go out.
You could just use one car with two drivers?
Besides, sharing sessions would mean you'd only go out in each car every two hours!
Pay the extra £100 you cheap skate!
Stef.

Kewl, I'll be there, won't be driving but will be bringing a digital video camera so if anyone wants a tape of a lap or two and want a passenger I'll be happy to oblige!

W9GTR,
You will have to speak REALLY nicely to me on the day as I am the man who controls the stickers and if you don't like it you know what to....
You have a valid reason for having more than one sticker, so I will look favourably on the day (perhaps!!)

Never been on a track day before but am thinking of spectating to see what it's like - any chance of getting a go as a passenger in someones car ? If so how do I get in touch with you ?

Nah.. the 400lb/ft torque of the Edsel would put you to shame..
Anywho, at least I'll be able to blame the car for being slow around the circuit.. (still running it in I'll claim)

I'm in. Sounds like a good day. There are over 70 posts on here now. There's a lot of banter of course, but there should be around 40 Scoobs at least. Fat chance of running slicks, though!

Yeah me too! Happy to pay £10
Spoke to 'em last week and got a good price for 4 Proxes. Will call on Tuesday to reserve a nice new set to go home on.
Stef. Those 17's on your car at Brands look erm .................. interesting! What are they?
Cheers

Quick question... will passengers have to pay? I heard that Donno charge a tenner for someone to be a passenger - even in a friend's car? This seems pretty steep (up there with motorway service stations in my book)...
RobMac?

Ricahrd,
Yes, you pay 10 squid to be 'ballast'. For this money you get a wrist band and means you can jump in any car (if the driver will let you ).
I guess the 10 pounds covers the admin charge and also a contribution to the rescue services etc.
I say, 10 pounds !! Cheap for some track time if you are not driving.
Cheers

Stef, £10 for Tyres Northampton. Sounds good to me, but how to you levy it? And does that mean anyone who hasn't paid £10 won't get help? Suck it and see, I guess. Doesn't bother me either way. Pay on the day. Thanks for the initiative.
