Trackzone are doing a track day @ donnington on the national circuit on Sunday the 12th November at a cost of £100

Who's up for it?

You can book on 01332 810048 or fax on 850422

Bit close to brands but will be good fun I'm sure. Do you think that Tyres N'ton might consider attending?

If we can't get the day we were hoping for, I guess we'll have to just invade theirs! https://smilecwm.tripod.com/ut2/redcap.gif

Stef,

Can you expand a little on your comment as I thought the SIDC were trying to get a date at Donington in November, were we blown out?

Cheers

Yex

PS: Do Trackzone run an open pit lane or allocated slots?

harj 06 October 2000 10:21 AM

More than likely the day will be held in sessions again, probably 3 sessions in the hour.

DocJock 06 October 2000 01:55 PM

Yeeesss. Just got off the phone.

Yes, we were blown out and could not organise a date due to outside influences.

One of the possible dates was the 12th of November, and this has now obviously been sold back to the circuit for their own use.

I will be there as they have asked me to run the day for them as usual.

Rob.

As an ex-scoobe owner, I'm going to pop down for old times sake. Any chance of a few laps with people please. Ian G's already offered, but the more the merrier!

chuckster 10 October 2000 12:46 AM

Well, I can't drive worth a sh$t, but my passenger seat will be available whenever I haven't got an instructor in there. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Just don't complain about the Des O'connor CD I'll be listening to to calm my nerves. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
Cheers

chuckster 10 October 2000 12:48 AM

Speaking of instructors, are there enough SIDC members going to get an extra instructor in? What is the requirement - 5 SIDC guys?
Cheers
Chuck

Mike Tuckwood 10 October 2000 11:34 AM

Stef 10 October 2000 02:46 PM

Rob Mac is there anyway, so should be OK.
Would anyone else fancy paying a small charge per-head to get the lads from TYRES NORTHAMPTON there? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Stef.

chuckster 10 October 2000 03:09 PM

RobMac will be there, true, but won't his talents be spread fairly thin - ie scoobs and non-scoobs alike ? I'm just anxious to get some time with an instructor Stef, as I know I am pants.
I wonder how many of all places will be taken by scoobs?
Cheers

simo 10 October 2000 06:25 PM

Stef

No problem with paying a small amount for Tyres N'tons services http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif. If enough scoobys go can we use sidc track support for them?

simon
