Run the cold pipe from the blower to the TMIC mounted (dare I say it) where the stock one is and pipe to the core close to the windscreen.
Blow the charge through the core and pipe the collector direct to the inlet manifold.
I can sketch it faster than describe it (poorly).

Remember when AndyF had that huge wide TMIC 2/3 years back with fans on?
Exhaust is easy until you need to silence it, but a long silencer could be laid inside the front bumper/valance for exit under the indicator unit?
911's do this only at the rear; the silencer (it is huge) runs inside the rear quarters and center valance.

Can I say look at the sketch. If the turbo was to one side then you can vent/silence in the inner wheel arch. This could still be an option.
A gross oversimplification I know but:
http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=450md93
Or:
The rad simply goes in the boot. With that thought can't the intercooler take up that space in the front? Is there enough room where the grill normally is?

Shoe-horning is great fun from a distance, and actually doing all this is a major challenge.
I feel a flip front wings/bonnet etc makes even more sense to finding room in the front.

Graham.

Oh, is that all..???
Could you not modify a fibreglass front bumper, ie, make it a bit more sticky out at the front, to accomodate various bits...?

Or turn compressor housing through 180, have pipe go downwards, and have intercooler to one side, and back out the top of said intercooler, into front entry inlet manifold....?

Need one of Grahams drawings here to explain me thinks....

P.S, glad to see you've got some motivation from somewhere,...keep up the updates...

So, FMIC in the front (sorry) and the rad in the back unless you set the engine back with a shortened prop. (not a bad idea?)

Careful with the white ball.

Mmm, how far back would you be able to get away with considering the front driveshafts and angles...???

The 911 in it's early days had a wheelbase increase of about 60mm to sort the handling. Porsche moved the suspension but not the engine/box, thus putting the driveshafts out of alignment buy about 5 degrees in the plane 90deg opposite to suspension travel. That is not too bad, but the 911's rear wheels don't steer!

I think the WRC cars have a different engine position?

Engine isnt moving, rad cant go in the boot. driveshaft angles are not ideal as it is, so not changing anything stupid like that..

Why reinvent the wheel.

Sorry David to pinch a bit on the thread:

How heavy are the fibre glass doors? (if possible, just the door case/shell weight, no glass)

So that is about 4Kg per stripped door? No glass/door bar/card.

The steel front door is a lot heavier than the rear .

I weighed my front doors 22.5 Kg (RA, so ne electics), without the cards, and the rears 18.5.

With poly windows a saving of around 13-14Kg per front and 10Kg per rear.

So my car would have been even lighter if I had 4 doors to save weight on
