Yep, my crappy sketch, but if you follow this thread David is actually following the theme sort of.
As his project Manager he is difficult to guide but he will get there eventually! (bull****) but the sketch is mine, just love drg cars and things.

Wish i had David's focus to actually do this to my car, but would need a year out of the Game, and I'm still a crap driver!

Ah, not on your own now then. A good mate will work wonders for the enthusiasm, especially lubricated by a 6 pack...

I still think it will look a bit like 'my' car!

you need to work harder as us lazy types are waiting and impatient..

Graham

Try moving something in your picture, and then try come up with a sensible solution. Then try do it when what you have move, is way bigger than you imagined.

David, no probs, said i would call in one night on way home from work. Was very interesting to look at! It will shock a lot of people.

Drop the GAY LORD FOCHER colour scheme though. No way am i towing that car to an event for you

Stephen:
In 1973 I squeezed a Capri 3 litre V6 and auto box into a 1937 Ford Y type that originally had an 8 hp 4 pot.
Add a Viva HA front suspension instead of a beam axle and add a Triumph Spitfire steering column and I fully understand your comments!

Building Hot rods was great fun, David/Andy/Paul and a few more in the wings I think are doing this today.

The Y type was scarey.
I think Davids will be too. I wouldn't tow a pink car either unless in a boxed trailer..or tint your windows for max effect.

Graham.

I wont see a fecking thing if i take them off

Graham, the task is doable, its just doing it so it looks right thats the difficulty.

What David is struggling with, weighs roughly same as one of my kids, and is probably half the size of one of my kids

At least if anything goes wrong you can actually climb inside your turbo housing and work on it.

The 'only' issue is an intercooler?
Surely a WRC solution will do it?? But the bonnet line will be changed.

Keep going David

You're going to need one hell of a heat shield around that thing!

I'm sure you'll find a way of acommodating them. I wouldn't like to try.

Very imformative thread BTW
