Agree...

DON'T LET THE ******* GRIND YOU DOWN..

We all have days where we think of just throwing in the towel because it all seems "too much ******* effort"

This dam thing will not beat me...
It keeps throwing up things I'm not happy with but that's the adventure.... putting it right so you are happy with it..

Hope you can find time to finish it at your own pace now.

Andy

I will second Andy's comments, and with a little luck David you should have some pics on your mobile phone of what can be done.

Yes it is hard, and sometimes, I wake up thinking that I will never finish the car, I realise that I've put XX hours into the car, and it's still nowhere nere finished. I know the feeling you get when you work for days but it looks or feels no different to the week before.

BUT, progress is made, and the car begins to take shape rapidly right at the very end. For every time I think about how it's not ready yet, I daydream forward to the time when it IS ready. To begin with this really was a dream, but now I can feel it, it's nearly there, like counting down the days to christmas when you're 6 years old, I know it will be finished soon!

Keep going, revel in small victories, picture your goal, work hard.

You will be rewarded.

Right, Drove to the clinic last night and collected my gearkit (Cheers Mikee) so hopefully take it to be built on saturday.

Hopefully the casing I have is useable, but I doubt it due to the damage to the selector rod area.

David, if you can hold off I'll have a casing going spare just shortly.

Simon,

I said to howard I could do with it quick, his response was is tuesday too late?.. I cant complain..

Alan, it itsnt enthusiasm, its the fact that Ive missed a shootout before, I dont care if the car is slow, I just want it to be there!! Sad I know!!

To be honest, Im there on the day to support steven, Im not attempting Handling with a std sump.. unless I speak to mark before.

Diff is a plated unit, also think I have secured an r180 rear

PS if anyone wants an uprated front diff, howard has some for £600 ish
