Odd this. I think this is the ONLY time that at this point in the hillclimb game I've done for 13 years I have not wanted to sell/change direction/give-in, and this is despite the EVO and others.
Must be me getting older and wiser.
Sometime I feel it is setting difficult goals especially if $$/time is too tight.
I am sure you have the resources to get out of the rut and forge forward; maybe it is time for a Jap straight 6?

Set achievable goals.
you will/have a great solid Wagon ready, and you need about 3 months to paint/transpose the silver to the 'new' one.
Pop in a holiday or two along the way to give a rest from the crazy things that get in the way (NB: Fuzz's issues) and you have Oct/Nov to get the base car done.
A few more tweeks in the winter...and you will be spot-on for the 2007 Subaru Championship or whatever.
This is more labour (cheap) that skip-fulls of $$$$$$$$$.
Anyway, easy for me or anyone to say as i'm just playing at it, or maybe i'm working to my revised plan of achievable goals?
Probably not much help, but you might regret it all yet.

A little rest is all it takes
Unfortunatley us meer privateers have to fund our own R&D budgets as well as investing in the car, we dont get given things to test

A change is as good as a rest..
Why do you think I'm doing a landrover conversion....
Takes my mind off the dam Subaru
.
24/7 Subaru work wears you down after a while
Anyway I can still use the excuse "I'm waiting for bits" cos... well I am.
Now where's those pics so I can see what you've been up to.

Soon Andy,
Had to go to www.immortalperformance.com to organise some parts for the car
and then had to shift some furniture, and then had to go to the pub!!

You'll have to wait until totb is over, the car is currently painted in primer inside, with no rear boot floor or much to the rear.
I have started cutting & welding pieces of metal to remove the holes that are unused in the bulkhead (IE all the std wiring & Heater holes)
