Didn't realise "Tigers" had to have good eyesight lol.

We could have started a new trend here, racing in complete darkness, no track lights, no lights on karts, total darkness.
Flat out speed as well.

Slightly annoyed at having to wait, as they knew we were coming and what time we were booked in for, but it was the event before us, they were suppose to start at 5.30pm and when we arrived at 6.15pm they hadn't all turned up and started yet. But I don't think we were anywhere as annoyed as the people in there final who were lined up on the grid waiting to go out and they were made to get out of their karts for us to get in. They were not happy bunnies.

Still enjoyed it anyway and can't wait for the 30th.

Another team is possible although I've had mail off Steve tonight with problems with their team - Ians hurt his neck.

What I've suggested (it should have gone to your mail account) is that Steve & Ron join your extras if that's possible. If not then your extra team can take the place of Steve/Ron & others.

Failing that does anyone know of any others to join Steve & Ron ?

If we do need one extra team slot then there is one available but it's on a first come basis so need to get deposit in quick.

Any ideas folks ?

Yes have heard Steve's bad news.

Right latest so far. We have spoken to friends that may have 2 people to go in Steve/Ron team. They will be confirming tomorrow night is this is a definite, leaving just one more to find, as Steve would like 5 in his team.

Alternatively, the other team I had interested need to know what time we have to be there, before they say a definite. They wanted to be a team on their own. Have you found out what time we need to be there yet, if not I can ring Clay Pigeon tomorrow?

I will let everyone know the latest tomorrow.

Well Ron has found another member now making 3 people, I also emailed Steve to tell him about a conversation I had with Dave (Big Bear)as he may well have been interested. I'm still waiting to hear about another possible.

So I was waiting to make sure Steve had his team sorted first, before I contacted the others as they wanted to be a team on there own.

Hi all

Any news on the team situation. I really need to let them know whats going on. There is a possibility that Clay could fill spaces with other teams if necessary. Darryl C team pulled out yesterday as well so that's 4 Scooby teams now.

Any thoughts on whether we should have our own set of trophies to race for or just go with the overall ones supplied by Clay ?

If only one is able to come are you (Ron/Steve) OK with running with a team of 4, I assume you've got the 1 extra Ron ?

The drivers I mentioned last night were unable to make it due to other commitments.

I rang Clay to find out how the ground lay for refund of deposit - doesn't look likely I'm afraid due to last minute + they'd be unable to fill the slot.

Julian (at Clay) knew of a driver who's always looking to get in with other teams as he can't make a team up himself. He's willing to drive and will turn up on the day. What Julian told him was that he'd have to pay a quarter and the time would be divided eaqually.

I've mailed Steve to get his veiw, bearing in mind that if we don't go I lose £100 I'm keen to do it, even with four, so I'll see what Steve says, if we don't do it I will not be very happy, cos it's down to the people pulling out that I'll lose my money, Not the people who want to do it, and I'm not in a position to lose £100 (who is)
