Hi All,

Is anyone interested in some "Arrive and Drive" Karting practice before the big event on the 30th ?

The circuit will operate until dusk if we pre warn them of numbers etc.

From memory - 30 mins is about £25 - thats for twin engined pro karts on an 800+ Mts outdoor track.

Let me know

Steve.

Hi Steve,

Paul would have been up for that but we have our first skittles match that night.

If you do Friday 14th, then he will be able to make it.

Cheers.

None of my team will be there I'm afraid.

Have fun & see you all on 30th.

I'll start a new post for paying for event.

Cheers

Hi All,

All of Paul's team members can go for practice, as long as you leave about 5.30 pm. Is this ok or a bit to late? What do you think?

Hi Tracey

At least 1.5hrs (more like 2) to Clay from
Bristol (M5 South) at sensible speeds. Might be pushing it a bit with darkness.

Cheers

I was thinking of getting away from Bristol by around 4pm to get there for 5.30 to 6pm. As the light is now fading around 8pm.

Spoke to team members today, one has now got cover at work, so he will be able to leave work at 4. He will be to me a little after that. So we will be able to leave by 4.30.
It only took us about 1 hr 20 mins last time, so this should be ok.

Is this ok with you Steve?

Hi everybody,

Spoke to Clay Pigeon this morning to pay deposit. They said they have received your email Steve and they have an event on the Friday at about 5.30pm which is going to take about 1 hr. Therefore they will be finished about 6.30 ish. So i said if we aim to get there for about then, there will be time for us to do an half hour practice.
He said that was ok.

Great.

Perhaps I should pop along to this toy car racing, just to take pic's and take the **** out of you *****.
Paul what's the chance of a fight braking out?
Will we be having a pint? Shandy like I always drink.

Chances of a fight breaking out, well lets see who gets in my way.

A pint on the way back could seem possible Bob.

Piccies, do you want my best side or do you want my best side. Watch the glow off the top of me head though.

Hi Guys,

Right, it's best to meet up at Gordano Services at 4.45 pm. This is giving us 1 hr 45 mins to get there as the event before us is due to finish at 6.30 pm.

I still think it's worth going even if it's raining coz it could well be raining on the race day. (Bit of fun).

Now where's me baseball bat?

See ya tomorrow.

Hi Steve,

Paul says there is not a briefing as such, just a little chat first. If you come off the track you have to put yourself back on.

It's gonna rain because it nearly always rains there !

Could be sunny for miles around and just at top of hill where Clay is bound to be raining.

No injuries please need a full compliment of teams for 2 weeks time - still thinking of a witty name for my team.

Hi all

Just got back in to a phone message from Julian at Visionary Kart Racing. He was a bit worried you guys might be a bit peeved at the short amount of practive you got due to over run on their part and it getting dark early.

He was a bit worried cause he never got to say goodbye to anyone.

Hope alls ok. Please let me know if not.

Cheers

I can't find the oringinal karting thread started, so that's why I'm putting it on here.

Just a couple of questions.

What time do we have to be there by for the briefing?

And is it too late to enter another team. Only I just had an equiry today that someone else might like to come.

Cheers

Tracey
