I am posting this on behalf of Mark Ryan, an SIDC member who is not on Scoobynet.
He would like to come to the Karting but needs to find two team mates.
Anyone out there got a space on their team?
Or alternatively, anyone thinking of coming along, but not put their name down?

I did one of these endurance events at Rye House last Saturday and I would recommend that you get no more than 15 teams. They have 23-25 Karts Max which means if one breaks, they don't have a replacement to give you. If you have 15 teams then they will have plenty of spare Karts....(apparently, the Director of the place prefers about 15 teams as that is the number they can cater for properly.....)
They do have the twin engine 200cc Karts as a backup (which we were given at one point) and these are slower than the 390cc singles that the GT1's are.
I would field a team but I'm going to a BBQ that night but will pop in to say Hi on my way...

Right..... We have 18 teams reserved for the Karting. A good number to close the booking at, ensuring we have a few spare karts available 
I am starting a reserve list, so if you want to come but havent booked yet, get your name on the reserve list and if any teams drop out, ill let you know.

Sorry, but I failed to notice that monies were due in advance, as at the last SIDC karting event we paid on the day. Oh bu99er.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure who's in my team yet! Seize is otherwise engaged and J.F's phone is constantly engaged. Don't fret though I will be there will a couple of ringers
