Good on you mat, it's a cracking deal, we should be able to get the fitting down to half a day with all the practice!!!!!

Having the Vf28 fitted wednesday morning and remap in the afternoon. We're picking up Si's completed car aswell!!! I'll have to bring my driving miss daisy hat and music to suit.

Go on treat yourself

I had to do the GB this side of Christmas because there seems to be an excess of stock and there is no guarantee if I could have reapeated the same deal in the early part of next year.

It will fit a 94my but you need to modify the hard pipes. From memory it catches the turbo housing or throttle body. But a bit cutting and some samco sorts it out. Do a search and I'm sure you find a the thread.

Mark

PS I discovered these and after a conversation with Harvey he decided to start the first group buy. It is a fantasic bit of kit for the money and is still in good condition after nearly 3 years. Hard pipes have lost some of the chrome plating.

Just to add, I fitted one of these Hybrid fmic's today and they fit very well, quality all the way, and with the polished pipe work it looks better than the HKS fmic.

For anyone else that reads this with a new age Scooby that may be interested would you just post your interest for me to gauge, I don't know if I can get a deal on them and I don't think for a minute it would be as good as this one but if I have a rough idea of possible numbers I may be able to get something put together off the back of this GB.
What do you think gents ?

That is probably a question for the techinical section as I'm no under bonnet expert here, but as a guess I would be likely to comment.......

I'm not sure on what Turbo you are running as standard on the P1 or what Bhp your producing ? if the P1 has an uprated turbo on there as standard you could just drop this on and simply have a re-map... since you have the initial map you may be looking at around £150 ish for that possibly.

To give you an example Danny off the link at the begining of the thread fitted one, he is pushing approx 275bhp off a tek3... since fitting this he has picked up an uprated Turbo which he is having fitted this week along with another map to follow he is looking at around the 320-330bhp mark.
I'm sure he will keep us posted on the final figure.

You will also need another DV because the one you have fixes to the top mount itself they are available second hand for around £50 ish.

Simon

Si - ure a swine!

How much are these normally going for? Not really looked into an fmic yet as not planning major mods right now - clutch is next unfortunately...

I do have a question tho....what BHP can the std tmic on a 98 Sti V5 handle???? At what point do you gain from having the fmic? From what people are saying, this is a spot on price but if I don't need it......
