I have been in contact with the HDi Sales Team and we have agreed a price if we can get 10 orders together.....

Prices will breakdown as follows;

FMIC will be £280 delivery included to the UK.

There is a £8.50 insurance charge on top for delivery.

** Total Price = £288.50 **

For an additional £17 they will include the oil catch tank (optional)

** Total with catch tank = £305.50 **

.................................................. ...........................................

One thing to bare in mind as this is an import part that you will get charged VAT plus a customs charge when it arrives in this country....
That will be an estimated £75 ish I believe.

.................................................. .................................................. .....

I think I've got everything down how does that sound ??
Any specific questions I will do my best to answer as soon as possible but bare in mind it will be by e-mail so it will take a couple of days turn around.

As mentioned above before this GB needs 10 orders to become live I will then update with all the contact details.
I will not be handling any of the financial or ordering side this will be direct between yourselves and the sales team contact at Hybrid Hong Kong.

One of the boys has just pointed out that the advert refers to the 600mm and
820mm.... I'll clarify exhactly which one it is and adjust the advert.
I'm sure it's 820mm but as yet don't quote me on it ;)

Also I need to point out that they do not have Hybrid painted on the front, I'll ask if they can supply with a stencil or painted as well.

Simon :D

** Edited to include the e-mail reply **

Dear Simon,
Thank you for your email.
We have looked over this, everything seems okay.
600 mm is the core length, 820 mm is end to end length.
We can supply a HDi stencil to the customer.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any question.
Regards,
HDi sales team

I know it comes with a "HDI" stencil in the box Si, but I think Hybrid would be better for choice.

Coulster 17 November 2005 12:42 AM

Does it include all the hoses as i see from the thread you were missing the one onto the turbo?

What other hoses would I need for fitment? dumpvalve hose?

Cheers

You just need to source one hose yourself.... simple enough I think they are available from Demon Tweeks for one, I'll ask Danny to come on the thread and go into more detail about it, also I'll confirm what DV is needed that simply drops in line.

Neil if the GB starts to look successful I will ask for a price for the newage one's if you would like me to, but I don't think for one minute that it will be near the price that we have got for classic one's.

Blinding price, cheaper than I got mine for!!!!!!

The side the turbo connects is about 48mm and the intercooler pipe is 51mm, I used a 51mm streight connector, by the time the clamp is in place it's a very snug fit. with no blowing. You will also need to purchase a 38mm-25mm reducer for the dump valve this can be either a streight or a 90 bend, I went for the streight but the dump valve hangs down abit and wished I gone for the 90 bend. Double check the size of the dump as I can only go on my experiance.

I got my hoses from ebay and a rally shop but got stung **** loads on postage, demon tweeks are good on price and shipping, Simb2 got his from there, came to about £25

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/produc...=B445&x=20&y=7

You also need a dump valve that doesn't connect to the intercooler ie:My99 onwards, I purchased a 2nd hand bailey one for a My97 for £50, loads on ebay and on here.

If you have a My99 onwards and go for a VTA dump valve you'll need to either purchase a new bung or have one made, as the early cars which the valve was made for have a different size recirc pipe, I had a couple made by a local engineer, cost me £5 but I do live in the sticks where sheep are the main currancy!!!!! so expect to pay more, I just gave him the size of the internal and external size of the pipe and he made me two.

That's a good question but hard to answer.... as soon as 10 are aboard we are live so to speak :D shall I estimate a week ? I just can't answer that one for you.

Even when it is live we can run it for a while, it's not going to be a 10 cut off and that's it so there is some flexibility there for you... I hope that helps ?
