No he isn't doing her or himself any favours by prolonging the inevitable but come on, the guy isn't finding this easy and he gets abuse!!
Good luck Novemberscoob.

.
Make a copy of a P45 and put her name on it. Tell her she can either work her notice or take the rest of the day off - that usually gives people the hint that times up.
EDIT - pants!!! Triple O G beat me to it with the P45 reference

From: Tellins, Home of Super Leagues finest, and where a "split" is not all it seems.
Do what I did after 7 years. A bit of dutch courage then tell her the relationship is (and I quote) "****" and that it is time to part.
Go to bed and sleep well as a result of dutch courage. Wake up a single man. Arrange cancelling joint accounts and how mortgage equity will be split. Put the house up for sale (too many memories etc) and get back out in Singlesville. If age is relevant Im 31.
Its a piece of p155 mate. Worked for me... I lodged with a mate for a few months, got back out there then bought me own batchelor pad and boned the few girls from my home town that I hadnt been through prior to the long relationship
I'm now settled with another lass and couldnt be happier
If only my liver could say the same
