Steve,

Dave is too embarrassed to admit, (but I'll tell you the secret...!) that when we got to Taunton and had waited for AGES, he thought that he'd turned up on the wrong day! lol

Sorry Steve
I didn't mean to jinx it, I don't know as yet whether I'll be able to make it on Sunday.
I'm glad in a way that it wasn't only me that got the snow, It would have been rotten if i was the only one, and you lot had sat there for ages waiting for me.
I'll keep you posted ref sunday.

DaveD and Rach,

Sorry about today. A lesson learnt for getting contact numbers before we make the trip ( I had planned to get mobile no's when we met at Taunton) I'd heard on the news that there were various roads closed across the moors. Hope no damage was done to the scoobs with those hedge stopping manouveres?

Steve.

Steve,

Rach & me were in the same car!

No damage done . Only used just over half a tank of fuel for 150 miles as well, so a relatively cheap day all round.

I think most roads would have been passible, but only at *very* sedate speeds!

Yep, mobile nos may have been useful, possibly something to consider for the future!

Good luck with your next attempt!

Dave & Rach.

I was wondering about driving over the moors sunday. Might be a bit kamikaze!! Someone went into my front wing on thursday evening so a small ding to claim for. Some people do not know how to drive in snow.

Hi All,

Due to the weather forecast i've just seen (more snow for Exmoor), I think it best if we cancel the run now and wait for another day soon. Don't see any point in going when conditions are far from perfect.

Would someone like to suggest a date in Jan/early Feb ?

Steve.

Hi
Not another bus I hope Ian.
I also had a prang the other day, but not snow related. Taking a right-hander down a duel-carriageway not far from my house. Only doing about 70-80 ish the steering started vibrating very badly and the car was drifting to the left had right lock and giving it a boot full of throttle the car still drifted left until I just clipped the pavement. The tyre was almost flat so drove slowly to a tyre and exhaust place they removed the wheel and found a piece of metal through the tyre hit the wheel and was just returning through the tyre again. This was a brand new tyres and I had not even scrubbed them in. Oh well another £117 down the drain. Also kerbed the P1 wheel.

I am also having problems with it.
I can see a message has been posted today 2nd
but cannot see any messages for today. I get this quite often when posting messages to this board. I cannot see them for quite a few hrs and sometimes not even untill the next day. Other times my message pops up instantly.

Ian,

Karting is at Supakart, Newport. We have booked a Grandprix night starting at 7pm. It goes on for about 3 hrs, costs £22.50 per driver.

Let me know if your coming.
