you will find no problems-and if you provide a MAC code from your current provider you can qualify for first 2 months free broadband as well!

All very interesting I’m on a tiscali 512 Broad band account and it was fine till my mate moved in and started his P2P internet hover, it was fine for a bit but then they started to throttle the service, the second time I spoke to there tech support they told me I was breaking there far download policy, I was then told that If I upgraded to 2mb I could down load as much as I like when ever. Still waiting for the upgrade to go live, only been 2 weeks.
After reading this I think I’ll just move IPS which was what I should have done but the 2mb upgrade looked less hassle, wrong again.
Thanks all

It's not over 100GB/mnth its 100GB/mnth total and only 30GB/mnth at peak time. If you go over either u get a warning. If u go over both u get managed to 67kbps

Have you had a look at: www.adslguide.org.uk
They have a nice chart of good performing ISPs and a Forum you can sift through to find out the good from the bad. When I was looking to move off BT I was seriously considering 'zen'. Not the cheapest but everyone on the adslguide forum rated it a very good ISP.

Not interested in any faster speeds as 2.2mbs is all the line can handle.

LMAO - Tiscali. If you do nothing else in your life, ever, make sure you avoid this company.
I'd definitely recommend Zen. I'm on 1Mb, I consistantly experience constant downloads of 115 - 130KBs. Tech support is 2nd to none and I've had my fair share of ISPs over the past 10 years.

Tiscali are ok if you don't plan on downloading anything .
After leaving (told to p*ss off by Tiscali), I switched over to Freedom2Surf 2mb £24.99 per month. A bit costlier but as yet I have had no threatening emails saying I'm downloading too much and download speeds constantly 230-240kb/s.
