Just bought this 3 weeks ago to keep my 555 company but now decided to move the 555 on and give ther forester the FULL treatment. Travelled down to Lighwater in Surrey to pick it up. A proper bargain it was too
This is my 7th Subaru and 3rd forester
Its a 2005 2.5XTen and will be getting a good few of our finest pounds spent on it

Thanks Guys
Biggest thanks to Paul for selling his baby to me, and good to meet you again Anger.
To say we are chuffed is the understatement of the century
Let the further modding commence

had my foz for a while now - it's been a constant battle against the "it's not a subaru" haters but i'm getting there!
nearly got shot but hopefully when i fit the TD04 on saturday the fuel consumption might improve - getting around 18mpg at the minute

Picked it up last night and got home eventually afterI ignored the satnav. I had never used it before and it took me 'Alles Uber der Platz'
I whent from Carshalton to Morden, to Wimbledon, then ended up seeing signs for Streatha and balham Then it was trying tp put me on A3 when I wanted M3. Then decided to ignore and head back for the M3 direction.
Posting on SF Tonite
Can you pm us about the Intercooler, how much wonga etc. send you one on hantssite or surrey scoobies cant rememeber now

Picked up a brand new sti Forrester from LI the other week
Dont know why we didnt buy before - superb all round vehicle
We were looking at an estate - in the form of the new Impreza but it looks simply awful and my wife stated if I bought her that ****ty looking Rover she'd divorce me
So the wife is just bedding the car in
Didnt see the point of getting an 18 month old one for the £20k mark - prefer it brand new and at least you know the history
Cant wait for the remap
Really should have bought one ages ago......... anyone who is even considering this just go for a test-drive at Powerstation/Litchfield imports - you will be surprised at how good they handle and drive - that was always my main concern - but it was very misplaced - sure it wouldnt get anywhere near my sti5 on track, but every little does
I now have
STI5 4 door with 500bhp/420lbs (for track)
Wrx04 - will be up for sale
Sti Forrester
Forrester even in detuned state feels quicker than an excutek'd wrx - the gear ratio's on the wrx leave much to be desired and make the turbo feel very laggy - you dont have that with a 2.5 litre Forrester

Congrat and welcome
We were at Litcho's weekend before last to take one for a test drive. Was also taken out in Clives Blue one (AST's & 330 kit). There is a world of difference between these two cars with just the handling and power packs, transforms the experience IMO.
We couldnt stretch to buy a new one and the have the work done to it, so we got a used one with power and suspension mods allready done (not the power station setup though). As if we bought one we would only spend the money on the bits in the long run. My favourite mod in ours is the Spec-C seats ...the similar to look as forester sti ones but more figure hugging, more winged and lumbar support. I did find myself sliding out of the ones in the litcho car.
Anyway welcom aboard and as Pete says, see you on SF.org
