Cool Resurrecting this thread

Hi all

As a potential owner in addition to our Impeza wagon, thought would pop in and bump this up to the top.

I am no expert yet so I should shut up really but I was reading its basically an Impreza engine with different compression ratio and smaller turbo .. 0 out of 10 for correctness ..I'm sure of on the Foz-Meisters will correct

We been to look at some today, took 2 s turbos out for test drive, powah felt like her punto compared to the STi wagon but you'd expect that in their standard trim. Lots of potential though

Not sure of the earlier models but the later FXT ones before MY06 have the Impreza Sti block. Mine is based on the WRX one but hasn't proved to be a problem so far

well it was Davids wifes car, it had a new engine fitted and re-mapped running 240-260bhp and the same in torque, de-cat and scoobysport back box. Might have missed a few things maybe David could add to it!! But i am really pleased with it!

Back in the Forester fold again, on our 3rd FSTi and have now come to the conclusion that nothing beats it for an alround performer.
